To gain an in-depth understanding of the operational status of member enterprises, fully leverage the association’s role as a bridge and link between itself and its members, and strengthen communication and cooperation among members, recently, Xu Qunying, Chairperson of the All‑Grinding Committee; Li Kai, Executive Chairperson; and Zhou Qi and Cai Cai, Deputy Secretaries‑General, along with other members of the delegation, paid visits to various member units. They conducted on-site assessments of business operations and current conditions, and engaged in in‑depth discussions on industry development.
A symposium was held at the Baishun International Hotel, bringing together business leaders. During the meeting, entrepreneurs presented updates on their companies’ production and operational status, engaged in discussions on market conditions and industry trends, and worked to develop solutions to address current challenges. They also explored ways to leverage the association’s role as a bridge and platform to help member enterprises overcome difficulties and strengthen cohesion among members.
1. The rapid spread of the pandemic in developed economies such as Europe and the United States will deliver a major blow to global supply-chain security, potentially triggering significant changes in the abrasive and tooling industry’s supply-chain system. In the face of this highly uncertain risk, companies must build resilience, anticipate potential challenges, and adopt proactive measures to respond effectively.
2. The chairpersons have advocated prioritizing procurement among member organizations under equivalent conditions; however, suppliers and resin‑bonded grinding wheel manufacturers have not been actively reaching out. The chairpersons urge all parties to strengthen communication, engage in more exchanges and dialogue, and work toward complementary strengths and shared development.
3. For enterprises to emerge from the pandemic crisis, they must adopt a diversified strategy. First, they should closely align with government policies and maintain confidence in the market. Second, they must take proactive measures to rescue themselves—strengthen their internal capabilities, refine and elevate their products, and strive for survival amid adversity. Third, they must remain committed to innovation, as innovation serves as an enterprise’s “immune system.”
Through this gathering, we have pooled our collective wisdom, gaining a fresh and distinctive perspective as we move forward on the Association’s journey. The Association Secretariat will continue to organize visits and exchanges with member enterprises, and we encourage all members to actively participate in these outreach activities. Let us work together to advance the Association’s development and build it into a platform for resource sharing and mutually beneficial cooperation!
